I Got Some Advice

I think think this is a great track.

However, I do think it's lacking something.

It's too short to really have vocals, but needs them or something else, like, maybe a drop, the riff becoming very clear, instead of distorted, and a heavy and fast beat coming in.

I work with FL9 so I can't advice you on the instrument to use, but a sequence would be good, simply imitating the already given riff.

Advice

It is quite good, but to make lighter pieces do this:

Shorter notes.

Try not to make the notes clash so much- THAT makes them sound like minors.

This piece has feeling.

It's sad.

It's not conventional drum bass though. Slightly repetitive too.

Still, you have motivated to try FL again, and work against the lag.

I know it's not really drum and bass, but I couldn't quite find a matching genre to this song... Atleast not any genre which's existance I am aware of. If you get my point.
