How About...

"Sad Eyes Are Pretty"

But that beat DOESN'T work. Sounds like you're getting some hardcore in there :/

Also the beginning of the pattern, that third note doesn't work. (Finding which note found wrong made it obvious the beat didn't work.)

OK, well, continue with it, but you know, it's trance, it has to flow. Less bass.

Also- It's not called a Beta, it's a WIP (Work In Progress). Beta is used for software only really :P

If you want any other help let me know and please check out FK Productions' page.

Good work.

What I'm feeling...

Actually increase the tempo of the first 45 seconds by 20 BPM, then add a high to low pitch bend, to introduce the new, AWESOME pattern. At 2:05 start that pattern off about 2-3 scales down, and pitch bend it up to the original, then: When the new pattern comes in, keep the siren like thing going through. At 3:35 start fragmenting the siren, and as it gets towards the end let it turn into a few beeps, then nothing. Then, at the final few bars, let it go one last time, pitch bending it down to VERY low.

It's not to long with these changes in mind, otherwise just shorten all of the different sections a bit (the lazy option).

I'd suggest adding some mid-tones to, long, drawn-out synths.

Also, I'd like to point out at this point that this isn't trance, however I like some of the samples you're using!

Look, if you think my advise is good then check out my page and see what FK Productions is all about. If you're interested let me know.

Nice

But as a piano piece, and yes I know you like chorus filled music- You should add a little intro, like a scale. And what I find surprisingly effective is to find some notes on either end of the scale you've used, and just tap em.

0:45 Doesn't work.
But I understand what you were doing :)

Yeah, there's a run in the pickup measure of the 6/8 march I'm writing now.

I'll agree with you that the area around 0:45 is harsh and should have just been a restatement of an earlier bit on the piano version of the piece. I wrote that in thinking of how it'd sound once I arranged it for band. This was back before I'd even found mixing software. I put dynamics and tempo markings into MuseScore and exported it as a WAV file to be converted directly to MP3. Once I realized how bad the band arrangement I'd made sounded (practically a MIDI file), I decided to upload the original piano piece as well. For some reason, I didn't think to take out the stuff that didn't work for piano. I suppose I still could, but then I'd want to mess around with other things as well to make it less harsh sounding. Then I'd want to fix the band version so it sounds better. For now, I'm going to leave it be so I can work on other projects whenever I find the time and the inspiration to make music.

Thanks for the review!

Cool!

Like the name, good wobbles ^^ What did you use?

WTF

Just saw that person's review below- What was going on there?!?!?

I mean, if he was trying to be sarcastic- He should of gave you 0 :P Maybe he's such a noob he doesn't know about that? :)

Like it. ;)

Awesome!

By the way, 8-Bit style music is growing on me- Keep it up!

(The pitch bend makes it more bearable ^^)

Nice beat and catchy melody, but a little flat.

I'm gonna try 8-bit samples together with some HQ Plug-ins- I'll let you know how it goes :)

Wow, I love it!

We're making a game too, and I'm currently scouting NG for inspiration.

And I certainly got it!

I'll be putting together a song that I've been writing for months now. It too is a piano piece, and in that short song you've helped me a lot! Thanks for that!
