How About...

"Sad Eyes Are Pretty"

But that beat DOESN'T work. Sounds like you're getting some hardcore in there :/

Also the beginning of the pattern, that third note doesn't work. (Finding which note found wrong made it obvious the beat didn't work.)

OK, well, continue with it, but you know, it's trance, it has to flow. Less bass.

Also- It's not called a Beta, it's a WIP (Work In Progress). Beta is used for software only really :P

If you want any other help let me know and please check out FK Productions' page.

Good work.

thanks or the comment

and i tinck i use the name

and i will edit the beat and the wrong note

Nice

But as a piano piece, and yes I know you like chorus filled music- You should add a little intro, like a scale. And what I find surprisingly effective is to find some notes on either end of the scale you've used, and just tap em.

0:45 Doesn't work.
But I understand what you were doing :)

WerewNC responds:

Yeah, there's a run in the pickup measure of the 6/8 march I'm writing now.

I'll agree with you that the area around 0:45 is harsh and should have just been a restatement of an earlier bit on the piano version of the piece. I wrote that in thinking of how it'd sound once I arranged it for band. This was back before I'd even found mixing software. I put dynamics and tempo markings into MuseScore and exported it as a WAV file to be converted directly to MP3. Once I realized how bad the band arrangement I'd made sounded (practically a MIDI file), I decided to upload the original piano piece as well. For some reason, I didn't think to take out the stuff that didn't work for piano. I suppose I still could, but then I'd want to mess around with other things as well to make it less harsh sounding. Then I'd want to fix the band version so it sounds better. For now, I'm going to leave it be so I can work on other projects whenever I find the time and the inspiration to make music.

Thanks for the review!

Hmm..

Not the best riff, is very repetitive.

However, nice beat and effects.

Face.

UntitledWhite responds:

The rest of the song contains effects and drums in which i can't be fucked with editing.

Thanks for your review.

Anyway, back to this amazing track. Firstly- AMAZING.

You've used some really good samples (for once, sorry <(^_^)>)

Therefore I think it's your best track so far. Seriously. I could see this in an animation or something :D

I'm giving it a ten, because like I said, I think it's your best- And I've gave you a 9 before.

BITCH BEND FTW!

dicool27 responds:

Finally a comment!
Yeah i thought you'll like it ;)

Da-a-a-a--a-a-aym!

Awesome- but I agree with sonicxtreme. A couple of temporary patterns would bring a little variety to it. And some of those notes were almost unbearable :P

So it's taken me so long, we're busy working on Nuclear Aftermath at the moment, and Killer's been working on the site too.

I rate you according to your relative display of talent. So the reason I am scoring you lower than some of your others is because you keep getting better, and increasing the scale! Good work!

dicool27 responds:

Thank's bro.
Yeah I think something is missing too..

Grime.

Very Good

Would of thought the drops may have been a little more pronounced but hey!

Mans0n responds:

thanks! and yeah i feel the same way.

Nice!

Add more.

It's ambient at the moment.

Part way through, add a riff.

Don't just use bass :P

Suppose it is a loop though...

Your drums are great!

Good work, will upload with my new track tomorrow, just used 'em all up on Force's work today- Check them out!

Thanks you very much!

Like it!

My only complaint is your spelling of practice :D

And that the low chords (Not the first ones) don't fit.

However, it isn't repetitive for some unknown reason! ;)

I shall counter your song with my slightly less impressive track:

http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/liste n/357104 (mind the space!)

I will get uploading this very suitable Flash Animation Soundtrack immediately.

As a side note, and probably in a not so preferable location, would you mind making me a track for the new animation I'm doing? It needs to be VERY suspenseful, with an actiony bit (peak) near the end. About 2 minutes length, we can sort out the exact specifications later.

I ask this of you, because you seem to be very versatile when it comes to music production :)

Note: Look for Soundfonts near the bottom of the list, may found the strings useful!

dicool27 responds:

Cool thank's for the review!
"Prectice" Oops haha..
I reviewed your track.

About the song for the animation, talk to me on FB.
Peace, Grime.

Very Nice

The beat and the bass don't interfere with that haunting riff you've got going there.

Very simple in design, very complex in feel.

Well done.

TomDavies responds:

Thankyou very much! :) Feel free to download the .flp file for this song in the description. Thanks again.
